We are continuing with our theme for the year, Swallowing Across the Populations, with this issue on pediatric swallowing and dysphagia. I want to thank everyone who gave their time and energy to write such high quality articles. It was a learning experience to read the articles in this issue. I would like to express my gratitude to the authors (in order of appearance): Rebecca German, James Tutor, Jean Ashland, DeAnne Wellman Owre, Justine Joan Sheppard, Joan Arvedson, Peter Johnson, Maureen Lefton-Greif, Carrie Keckley, Stacey Gibson, and Therese O’Neil-Perozzi. A special thanks to Rebecca German, of the Department of Biological Sciences and Pediatrics, University of Cincinnati, and James Tutor, of the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pulmon-ology, University of Tennessee, who are not members of our profession and who are willing to share their valuable information.
