Historically, fall was a time for an aggressive professional pace, and this fall was no exception. A successful ASHA Convention has come and gone, and Division 13 is very proud of all of the presentations by our affiliates. Next year’ dysphagia program committee will be led by one of our new Steering Committee members, Paula Sullivan. Paula and her committee promise another successful forum for original research and programmatic topics in the areas of swallowing and swallowing disorders across the age continuum. The Steering Committee and I were happy to see so many of you represented at our annual business meeting at Convention. Your issues were heard loud and clear and will be incorporated into our 2001 division strategic plan.
