I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new editor and to update the Division 13 community on our exciting plans. I am the director of the speech and swallowing program at the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine and an assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. My clinical and research interests include dysphagia in the head and neck oncology population and pediatric population. I’m looking forward to serving as Newsletter Editor and working with a fabulous Newsletter Committee whose members are Lynne Brady Wagner, Pete Johnson, Cathy Lazarus, and Jackie Ruark.
