The 2000 ASHA Convention promises to deliver some excellent presentations on dysphagia. Here are just a few highlights. Hope to see you there.
Four Short Courses will be offered this year. The Division 13-sponsored Short Course will be “Optimal Care of the Child with Dysphagia” and will include presentations by speech pathologists, gastroenterologists, developmental pediatricians, and otolaryngologists. This Short Course will be offered on Thursday, November 16, 00 at 8:00–11:00 a.m.
Another Short Course on pediatrics is titled “Pediatric Swallowing & Feeding: Complex Decision Making by School SLPs,” which is co-sponsored by the Division 13 and Division 16, School-Based Issues. This Short Course will be presented on Friday, November 17, 2000, 8–11 a.m.
