For those of you who were unable to attend the Division 13 meeting at ASHA Convention in Boston, there was a call for a new editor of the newsletter. Cathy Lazarus stepped to the podium and called for volunteers to take up the banner and assume these duties of editor, a post she desired to abdicate. Upon arriving in Boston, I contracted a severe cold. Thus, when Cathy made her announcement, I heard something like “Whodo to like to valder tube da duby of free edi door?” (Undoubtedly the result of serous otitus media)—which my cortex naturally decoded as “Who would second the motion to adjourn and meet for hot drinks?” I alone raised my hand. I am still wondering why there was so little enthusiasm for such a stellar idea.
