Welcome to all new and to all returning Division 13 affiliates. With 2,752 affiliates as of the end of March, ours is the largest special interest division in ASHA. In this column, I try to keep you updated on what the division is doing within its various task forces and let you know of any other important events within ASHA that affect our division. We have a new newsletter editor, T. Neil McKaig, who conducts research into cervical auscultation and maintains a private practice in Naples, FL. After reading this issue, I am sure you will agree that Neil has continued the high standards set by Cathy Lazarus, our former editor. Neil also has a great sense of humor and I am sure he will inject it into the newsletter, somehow. I, for one, will be looking.
