A number of Division 13 affiliates stated that they really liked the abstracts on pediatric feeding and swallowing that were in one of the newsletters in 1996. They requested more for 1997. Thus I am sharing with you several abstracts that appeared within the last year or two in journals that you might not typically read. The topics all contain pertinent information for speech-language pathologists who see infants and children with feeding and swallowing problems, whether you practice in medical or educational settings. You are encouraged to make critical reviews and comments. We will be happy to include your comments regarding these articles or on any other related topics in future issues of the Division 13 newsletter.
